What AI animation tools say about making a series

A register of what 23 AI animation makers say they do for an animated series, read on their own pages: the styles they name, how characters stay the same, episodes, lip sync, voices, starting points, length, resolution and where they run. Nothing was generated or scored. As of 2026-09-25.

Inclusion rule. The 23 tools in the register; a feature counts when the maker's own page states it. Order. The order features take on every tool page.

4Why a series is a different job

An animated clip needs one good shot. A series needs the same characters in episode after episode, a look that does not drift between scenes, voices that stay with their characters and mouths that move with the lines. Few tools promise all of it; many promise one or two.

The register records what each maker says, so a show can be matched to a tool before any credits are spent: whether it plans in episodes, how it holds a character, and what kind of input it expects.

5What the register finds

AnimateAI, AutoWeeb, GenCartoon, SceneMixer and Showrunner describe work in series or seasons. Anijam, Animaker, BigMotion, DomoAI, Elser, Flixly, Krikey AI, MagicLight, Neural Frames and PixVerse offer lip sync.

Every reading is quoted from the maker's page and dated. Tools change fast; the maker's current page always has the last word.

A column of its own reads four makers people search for by name — Vidu on a 2D look, Kling on the machinery behind an in-between method, OpenArt on a cast counted per plan, and Kling again against Runway — under series styles.
